Who are the patients who should consider a breast reduction procedure?

There are several reasons why patients decide to go through a breast reduction procedure with Dr. James A. Hoffman.

Breast reduction can correct breast asymmetry. This Minneapolis – St. Paul Breast Reduction patient is a 50 year old woman who had right breast cancer treated by lumpectomy and radiation therapy. The radiation caused fibrosis and shrinkage of the right breast. She was troubled by the fact that her left breast was larger than her right. This caused her a good deal of problems finding bras, swimming suits and clothing that fit. A left breast reduction was performed for this patient.

Breast Reduction with Liposuction

Women with large breasts are often unable to engage in the types of vigorous exercise that leads to stable body weight, such as running or aerobics.

This patient was bothered by her large breasts and the tummy fat that she had had since her teen years. A combination of breast reduction and liposuction has given her a shapely new figure.

Body contour surgery has enabled her to maintain an exercise routine and ideal body weight.
